Delba Electrical operates Africa’s largest Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) facility, measuring 4 m in diameter and 4.5 m deep. The plant impregnates windings with epoxy resin under vacuum and pressure to eliminate voids and raise dielectric strength.

Vacuum Pressure Impregnation for Superior Insulation

Our large-capacity VPI system thoroughly impregnates copper coils and complete windings used in generators, alternators and rotating machines. The vacuum and pressure process removes trapped air and moisture, then forces epoxy resin deep into the insulation system for void-free protection.
