The field services team is not a standalone contractor. Behind it sits DELBA’s complete repair capability — large and small machine divisions, power generation, a fully equipped machine shop and boiler shop, coil manufacturing and copper extrusion, Africa’s largest vacuum pressure impregnation facility and a full test bay.

Field Services — On-Site Support, 24 Hours a Day

DELBA provides service to customers nationally and across the continent. Skilled, experienced and committed technical field service teams travel in specially and extensively equipped DELBA vehicles to deliver laser alignment, vibration analysis, diagnostic testing, maintenance and emergency repairs to the customer’s doorstep. The division operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Why on site is usually the better answer

No transport, no rigging, no queue — for everything that can be resolved in place, the outage is a visit rather than a project.
The machine is diagnosed in its actual condition — installed, loaded, hot and coupled to the equipment it drives. A workshop bench cannot reproduce the fault your plant is experiencing.
The cause gets found, not just the symptom — misalignment, supply imbalance, contamination and driven-equipment faults are site problems and they are invisible once the machine is on a truck.
Decisions are made with information — you find out whether a machine needs to come out before it comes out.
One organisation, both ends — when the machine does need the workshop, the same company removes it, repairs it, returns it and commissions it.
